Quotes & Recommendations

"Overall, the game does a good job in providing solid gameplay with excellent atmospheric music to get the nostalgic juices flowing. The graphics as you‘d expect, are very retro — but that is in keeping with the style of Fervour." - The RISC OS Blog

"One of my favourite BBC Micro games was Sphere of Destiny and Xeroid runs along the same lines ... well worth 9.99" - Drag ' N ' Drop magazine

"I've thoroughly enjoyed the game so far. Things I like especially: The music, the sense of speed, the textures created by the multi-coloured tiles at times creates a pleasing graphical effect."

"This comes with a recommendation, it's fun and can be surprisingly tricky"

"a great balance of fun and irritation"

Xeroid is a new RISC OS game presented in 3D vector graphics.

You are travelling on a highway through space. If you leave the highway your ship will cease to function and will be sucked into a black hole.

The highway is also perilous! If you ride over certain coloured segments your ship will be affected. For example, green surfaces accelerate your ship whilst purple causes the ship to hover.

Xeroid is compatible with RISC OS 4 on Virtual Acorn and RISC OS 5 on Raspberry Pi 0, 1, 2 & 3, Beagleboard and Pandaboard based systems, the Iyonix, ARM X6, Titanium and RPCEmu.

In addition, a customer has reported that the game runs acceptably on an A9 home.

Upgrades to Xeroid are free.
